Getting Started

To get started with speech therapy services including screening, evaluation, and treatment, we ask that you submit the required initial paperwork to Little Bug Speech Therapy.

Please contact our main office at (919) 610-9298 or email meghan@littlebugspeech.com for an initial consultation. You will be provided with a link in email or SMS text containing an invitation to complete our intake paperwork online via the HIPAA-compliant Zentake platform.

Assessing Your Child's Need for Speech and Language Therapy

While most children experience age-appropriate lapses in language and articulation techniques, there are circumstances when therapeutic interventions are needed to correct certain delays and disorders. If you are considering speech therapy for your child, intervention may be needed if your child:

Has difficulty clearly articulating their sounds and words correctly
Cannot form meaningful sentences to express themselves or comment on activities
Has difficulty producing sounds and words without tongue protrusion or lisping sounds
Has difficulty in understanding and naming vocabulary words, following directions, or using descriptive phrases
Is generally difficult to understand when speaking to either familiar or unfamiliar listeners
