Online Video Teletherapy
In an effort to fully serve our clients during the COVID-19 era, we offer online video teletherapy for those who prefer rigorous therapy services in a virtual setting. Please call us at 919-610-9298 or email meghan@littlebugspeech.com if you think your child may need speech therapy in a virtual setting during this time.
Office Check-In Procedures
For office visits, we are also implementing new check-in procedures. We ask that all parents call or text your therapist upon arrival in the parking lot. Once any prior clients have vacated the office and left the building, your therapist will greet you outside the main entrance and escort you to the office. This is being done to eliminate any congregation of adults in the waiting areas outside of the offices.
Sanitization Protocol
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 we are following all recommended guidelines for sanitation and safety. This includes sanitizing all therapy surfaces/tables and therapy materials after each use. Your therapist will also wash their hands before and after each therapy session and will follow all CDC-recommended guidelines for personal hygiene.
Expectations of Parents
We politely ask that only 1 parent/adult accompany each child to their session. Although our therapists cannot effectively conduct speech therapy while wearing a mask, we do ask that parents wear a mask while in the building out of an abundance of caution. We also require that all parents and children thoroughly wash and/or sanitize their hands prior to and after each therapy session, even if there is no person-to-person contact.
